A taste for translation

Gateway provides translations in six European languages. The mark of quality of a Gateway translation is that you will hardly be aware at all that you are reading a translated text. The way we achieve this is by making sure that every text is read and checked by at least two people. 

Experience and expertise

Gateway has built up exceptional expertise in legal, general economic and property fields. This ongoing expertise is reflected in Gateway's specialist lexicons. Juridisch Lexicon / The Legal Lexicon, for example, has grown into Juridisch-Economisch Lexicon / The Legal and Economic

Lexicon. This frequently consulted book version of the Lexicon, now in its 5th edition, has been published in August 2010 for the first time in two volumes, making it even easier to use. A new edition of the download version, the sucessor to the cd-rom version, will also be available from mid-September 2010. In addition, Juridisch-Economisch Lexicon / The Legal and Economic Lexicon is available online via www.kluwershop.nl. The online version of the Lexicon is continually revised and is therefore always right up to date.

Network and terminology management

Gateway has built up an extensive network of experts in all areas of terminology, an invaluable source of information in our search for the right word. Naturally these words then find their way into the specialist lexicons.
