What we do

Gateway provides translations of all kinds of texts to and from six European languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch.

Gateway has built up vast expertise in legal, general economic and property fields. Aart van den End, the owner of Gateway, is the compiler of Juridisch Lexicon (Juridisch-Economisch Lexicon) and Onroerend Goed Lexicon, widely acknowledged as the definitive references in their respective disciplines.

Our translation work includes:

  • tax documents and contracts
  • correspondence
  • leases and sales contracts
  • annual reports
  • ministerial speeches
  • notarial deeds
  • offers and tenders

Sworn translations

If a translation of an official document needs to be legally valid, Gateway can provide you with a certified translation. This will be printed on special paper and bears the stamp of the sworn translator, together with a statement signed by the translator that the translation is a faithful and complete representation of the source text. The original document or a good copy is appended to the translation.

Gateway produces and maintains specialist lexicons of legal, general economic and property terminology. For more information, click on 'lexicons'.
